67th Annual Water Carnival Starts Friday in Erskine

The 67th annual Erskine Water Carnival will begin on Friday, June 2nd and run through Sunday, June 4th with a full schedule of activities for all three days. Friday’s schedule includes the Miss Northern Pike Contest on Main Street and a free street dance with music from the “Bad Campers”. Saturday has the always popular “Take a Kid Fishing Day” along with the “Big Fish Run” and the Best Baked Contest. It’s another free street dance on Saturday with the live band “Catalyst” providing the tunes and a fireworks show at dusk over Lake Cameron.. The schedule for Sunday includes the Classic Car, Tractor and Bike show, Kids Turtle Races and the Kids Tractor Pull. The Grand Parade will help wrap up the weekend beginning at 5:00 pm on Sunday. Everyone is encouraged to buy a lucky ticket for $3,000 in cash prizes and 32 bikes will be given away during the weekend. It’s going to be a weekend of food, fun and more at the 67th annual Erskine Water Carnival.
