More Water Safety Reminders

Life jackets and car safety seats have two things in common: they’re meant to help keep you safe and they have to fit properly.  Polk County Sheriff Jim Tadman talks about this.

Tadman also suggests it might be better if really young children stayed away from the water.

Tadman points out that Just as there are age restrictions on driving a car or motorcycle, there are age restrictions on driving a boat. 

Tadman says there are also restrictions when it comes to personal watercraft, like jet-skis.
