Hillsboro Days 2024 in High Gear For Friday’s Events

It’s day two today of Hillsboro’s annual city-wide celebration. Here’s the rundown for Friday at Hillsboro Days. 

Friday events begin bright and early at Miller’s Fresh Foods with their customer appreciation breakfast starting at 8am and running until 10. 4H exhibits and displays open at 9am in their building next to the Traill County Road Department. Livestock judging begins at 10am with rabbits and poultry along with the pet show. Events at the 4H complex continue at 11am with the Kids Straw Bale scramble and judging continues at noon with the parade of champions.

Towards the early evening on Main Street, the Kiddie Tractor Pull kicks off at 5pm with registration half an hour before. Also at five, R&J will be dishing out free root beer floats and the Car Show gets going.

Some other evening events include: Party in the Parking Lot at the Vets Club from 5:30-7; Alumni Basketball Games at the Hillsboro Events Center starting at 6; Family Game Night under the main tent from 6-9; and music by tail spin in the beer garden from 9-1am.
