Norman County Fair Fruit Pie Contest

A staple of any fair is a fruit pie contest.  Thursday night, the Norman County Fair held its annual Fruit Pie Baking Contest.  There were ten entries…and the competition was close, with one point separating first and second place.  The winner…for the fourth consecutive year….was Katherine Petry.  She talks about her winning pie.

Petry won $25 cash and an engraved pie plate from the contest’s sponsor, Norman County Farm Bureau.
