The Win E Mac Patriots gained their first win of the season with a 3-2 win over Mahnomen Waubun 15-25, 25-23, 25-27, 25-17, 15-12.  There was several momentum swings in this match, along with mistakes at crucial points of the match.  The Patriots attack was solid through out the night, along with switching up their serves to keep the Thunderbirds off balance, while Mahnomen Waubun got away from their attack and struggled to adjust to the Patriots serves.  While both teams played aggressive, the Patriots made big plays when they needed to and came away with the win.  WEM is now 1-17 while Mahnomen Waubun drops to 7-17.
