RLMC 2024 Health & Wellness Fair
On Wednesday, September 25th from 11am-1:30pm be sure to stop by the Rainy River Campus to see the Rainy Lake Medical Center’s Community Health & Wellness Fair. This is an event where the department’s at RLMC, alongside numerous partner programs, will have tables presenting the services they have to offer to give the public a better idea on what those services are.
Every community provider and other entities are invited to participate such as:
- Memorial Blood Center
- Kooch County Health
- WeHealth Clinic
- Sanford Home Health Care
- Sanford Eye
- Align Chiropractic
- Northern Options
- Friends Against Abuse
- Kooch Senior Center
- Northland Speech & Language Services
These entities will be presenting with RLMC’s own departments. From their radiology department showing their imaging services to their therapy providers. There’ll even be some of their own providers there, and a new physician, Dr Chris Little, doing a meet-and-greet.
Plenty happening from Flu shot talks, to blood pressure tests, to blood type tests, to glucose checks, and etc. for the community to check out. With the marketing department at the entrance greeting everyone!
The biggest goal of the fair is Community Health & Wellness (it’s in the name!), and to also inform the community members what is available in Borderland. As well as to inform folks about the Fall Prevention program that is being offered for the aging members of the community.
Again, this will be taking place on the Rainy River College campus on Wednesday, September 25th from 11am to 1:30pm, and this is an event being done by the Rainy Lake Medical Center.
