Cass/Clay Veterans Gap Fund seeking donations 

Cass and Clay County Veterans Services is seeking donations for the Cass/Clay Veterans Gap Fund, which is a program that aims to help area veterans in times of crisis. Clay County Veterans Service Officer Curt Cannon tells us more about the program and how it works. 

Cannon says the fund can be used for a wide array of emergencies from the purchasing of warm clothing to temporary housing. 

Cannon says the Gap Fund is completely funded by donations, so the program is always seeking, and accepting donations, and he shares how you can help.

Again if you’re a veteran located in Cass or Clay County in need of assistance contact your local Veteran Service Office for more information on the Gap Fund or alternative options available to you. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to the Clay County Veterans Service Office.
