Hunting Opportunities at Rydell, and Glacial Ridge Wildlife Refuge 

The 2024 Minnesota Deer Rifle Season is set to kick off Saturday, and thousands of hunters will be hunting on public land this season. Glacial Ridge Wildlife Refuge is one place that allows public deer hunting, and Refuge Manager Gregg Knutsen goes over some reminders for those hunting on the refuge. 

Knutsen also reminds hunters about the refuge’s motor vehicle rule. 

As for Rydell Wildlife Refuge, Knutsen says there is no rifle hunting allowed, and he explains why. 

Lastly Knutsen reminds hunters to be respectful of other hunters, and to be safe so that accidents can be avoided.
