Arrowhead Ultra 135 Kicks Off 

183 bikers, skiers, and runners from across the globe are braving the Minnesota elements for one of the toughest endurance challenges in the world. The Arrowhead Ultra 135 kicked off in International Falls yesterday, and of those over 183 athletes only about half are expected to finish the race which spans 135 miles. Arrowhead Co-Director Ken Kreuger tells us more about the challenge, and he explains what makes it one of the hardest endurance challenges in the world. 

Kreuger says there will be participants from all across the world competing, and he breaks down the demographics of this year’s racers. 

If done incorrectly, this challenge can be very dangerous, so there are some gear requirements for participants. Event Co-Director Jackie Kreuger tells us some of the requirements for the challenge, to give you a better understanding of how treacherous this race can be.
