Nonprofit Art Grants now open through Northwest Minnesota Arts Council 

Applications are open for arts grants for nonprofit arts organizations through the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council. (NWMAC)  NWMAC Executive Director Mara Hanel tells us more about these grants, and the different kinds of things they can fund. 

Hanel says this grant offers a perfect opportunity for new applicants and organizations to start new events, because “they have a lot of money” to give away.

Hanel says they will also be offering a free grant writing workshop for new applicants.
