On January 1 new restrictions in charitable gaming e-tabs were put into effect due to their similarities to slot machines, and organizations are already feeling the effects. On Wednesday morning House Republicans held a press conference to announce their intentions of getting this new legislation reversed. Bill Author Rep. Bjorn Olson (R-Fairmont)  tells us more about the situation charitable organizations are in, and what his bill would do.

American Legion Representative Tim Engstrom spoke in favor of the legislation, and spoke more on the effects this new legislation has had on his American Legion Chapter in Bloomington.

Lions Club Representative Amanda Jackson also reported major losses in charitable gambling for their chapter in Spring Lake Park.
