City of Hillsboro Purchases land for Electrical Project 

The Hillsboro City Commission approved the purchase of land for their upcoming city electrical project at their meeting on Monday night. Hillsboro City Auditor Casey Eggermont tells us more about the purchase. 

Eggermont also laid out an estimated timeline for the electrical project, which is expected to begin next year. 

Lastly Eggermont highlighted other items that came up for discussion including the possibility of a water treatment project. 

The Hillsboro City Commission will meet next Monday, March 17 at 6:30 PM at the Main Street Community Center.
