Wake The Lakes “Moron Lawbreaker for the Week”
A Missouri man accused of robbing a bank has pleaded guilty to being the dumbest bank robber ever. According to police, Michael Conley Lloyd walked into a Bank of America branch and handed the teller a note which read, “Give Your Money Now. Don’t Say Anything. I Have A Partner Outside.” The teller handed over the cash and Lloyd left the bank. But police couldn’t have asked for an easier investigation. First of all, Lloyd was wearing an ankle monitor related to another case, so authorities knew of his whereabouts. Also, the note that he passed to the teller — it was written on the back of his birth certificate. When cops located him, he immediately confessed to the crime of stealing more than 700-dollars explaining that he and his lover had gotten into an argument and that he robbed the bank “to prove a point.” It’s unclear what point he was trying to prove. Lloyd is facing up to 20 years behind bars.
