Polk County Incinerator could receive improvements, funding

Earlier this week on KKCQ’s Food for Thought, Polk County Commissioner Joan Lee joined Tom Lano to discuss the potential upgrades that have been long overdue for the county’s waste management, headlined by improvements for the incinerator.

Regarding funding, Lee mentioned that potential funding could be on its way from a potential bonding bill or from a federal grant.
