Sen. Johnson on Minnesota Budget

Minnesota State Senator Mark Johnson of East Grand Forks recently appeared on KRJB’s Kaleidoscope program to talk about negotiations on a bonding bill.  Johnson says he wants things like tax cuts put in writing into the bonding bill…rather than simply take the word of majority Democrats.

Johnson also spoke about the difficulty in getting a social security income tax exemption in legislation for capital improvements.

Negotiations will continue this week at the Capitol in St. Paul.
