Medical Issue Leads To Three Damaged Garages In Fargo

FARGO, ND—A man damaged three garages at a Fargo apartment complex Sunday after suffering a medical issue.  The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 42-year-old John Overboe of Fargo was parking his pickup truck at the complex at 4760 Timberline Drive in Fargo when he had the medical issue and the pickup stayed in drive and he floored the accelerator.  The pickup went through the wall of Overboe’s garage into a second garage and sideswiped a vehicle in that second garage.  The pickup then left the second garage, crossed the parking lot and entered a third garage through the garage door and hitting another vehicle.  Overboe was not injured and there’s no word on what his medical condition was.  No one was injured…and all three garages had significant damage.  The crash remains under investigation.
