Angie Leiting Lawsuit Filed In Polk County

Here’s an update to a story R&J News has been following.  The complaint by former Fair Meadow Nursing Home administrator Angie Leiting has been filed in Polk County District Courts.  Leiting, you’ll remember, is suing the City of Fertile, Mayor Dan Wilkens and Fair Meadow Nursing Home for allegedly forcing her to resign or be fired this past June.  Leiting’s attorney, Sarah Jewell, says Fair Meadow is included in the lawsuit because that’s where Leiting was employed; not because Leiting alleges wrongdoing by Fair Meadow staff or patients.  A court hearing has not been scheduled at this time.
