Left-hander Ethan Opsahl struck out 15 batters and drove in three runs with a pair of hits as the Ada A’s finished League play Sunday with a 6-4 victory over the Sabin Mets at Tony Sipe Field.

After allowing a pair of unearned runs in the first inning, Ada got one back in the home half of the first on an Opsahl RBI single…then took the lead in the second as Opsahl singled home two more runs for a 3-2 A’s advantage.

A’s right fielder Keith Hanson singled home two more runs in the third inning for a 5-2 Ada lead.  Sabin would score single runs in the sixth and eighth innings to cut the gap to 5-4.  But a Mike Erickson sacrifice fly restored the A’s’ two run lead at 6-4.
