Ada Borup West revamping tardy policy
The Ada Borup West School Board approved a new tardy policy at their board meeting on Monday morning. Ada Borup West Superintendent Aaron Cook tells us more about the new policy, and why it needed to be changed.
Cook says the board also approved the 2025/2026 school calendar with the exception of graduation, and he explains why.
The Ada Borup West School Board also had a discussion on whether to renew their operating referendum, and Cook explains what this means.
Lastly Cook talked more about some facility updates that are being planned for the school, including a new school lighting project.
Other items discussed at the meeting included Superintendent Cook’s upcoming visit to the Minnesota State Capital, an update from the school resource officer, and the approval to let sixth grade girls to move up and play junior high softball due to low participation numbers.
