Ada Woman Charged With Domestic Assault

Following a tip R&J News received Wednesday, we’ve learned that a woman from Ada was arrested Wednesday and charged with fifth degree assault and domestic assault for inflicting or intending to inflict bodily harm on someone.  According to court documents, 21-year-old Deonna Sue Voeltz allegedly bit, scratched and punched the father of Voeltz’s minor child during an argument….causing bruises, cuts and abrasions.  Voeltz allegedly also struck the man in the face, causing him to bleed. Bail for Voeltz was set at a thousand dollars; her next appearance in Norman County Court is June 13.
