(Aitkin, MN) — The Aitkin City Council held their second meeting of 2022 on Tuesday, January 18th after City offices were closed for the Martin Luther King Holiday on Monday.

The Council did approve a Special Event Permit for St James Catholic Church for the March of Life event on January 23rd.

Mayor Megan Workman spoke before the Council on the 2022 Appointments with deciding to keep former Council member Amanda Lowe on the Parks Committee after all of her tireless work.
