Aitkin County CARE gives ‘Year in Review’

(Aitkin, MN) — Aitkin County CARE was quite busy in 2021 with more miles on the road than ever after our latest conversation that we had with Executive Director Lynne Jacobs.

Meals on Wheels has continued to provide healthy food delivery for CARE clients while also having frozen meals available.

Transportation for medical appointments also saw dramatic increase in 2021.

CARE is also continuing to run exercise programs in addition to a new location starting in the New Year.

At the CARE office, clients can now get legal assistance. 

Jacobs also reviewed some of the numbers of clients served from the past year.
