Aitkin Mayor Megan Workman talks PD Roof Repair, sidewalks, Park cameras

(Aitkin, MN) — We recently chatted with City of Aitkin Mayor Megan for an update on City activity including sidewalk cleanup, adjustments with the City Park cameras, and initial talks on downtown parking.

Mayor Workman spoke about the plans to replace the roof of the Aitkin Police Department this Fall.

The Street Department is also wrapping up their annual sidewalk surveys in order to address overgrowth, low hanging tree limbs, and potential hazards with walkers.

Mayor Workman also addressed the concerns of the quality of picture of the City Park Cameras and how CTC recently stepped up to update their cameras.

The Aitkin City Council is also reviewing options in preparation of the downtown Creamery lot
