Altru and LifeCare Sign Letter of Intent to Explore Aligned Clinic and Hospital Services in Northwest Minnesota

Altru and LifeCare Medical Center have signed a letter of intent to explore opportunities for a new healthcare delivery model in Roseau, Warroad and Greenbush. This letter of intent gives the organizations the ability to explore options for aligning hospital and clinic services.

The Companies say they will work together over the coming months to determine what this path forward will look like, and that their goal is to ensure that the residents of these communities maintain the quality of care they deserve, with accessible providers close to home, and ultimately benefit from this collaboration.

In the release announcing the letter of intent Altru President Dr. Josh Deere said “At Altru, we feel that an integrated hospital and clinic model can benefit patients, offering seamless care transitions and providing efficiencies for both patients and providers. We care deeply about the residents in these communities and want to ensure that they are offered care close to home as often as possible.
