Area rescues reminding people that pets aren’t a good a surprise gifts
Christmas is fast approaching, and many are trying to figure out what to get for their loved ones. Some may be considering a pet as a gift, but many area rescues are warning people to reconsider or at the minimum take extra steps in making sure that pet is going to the right home. Erin Wilson of Scruffy Tails Humane Society in Crookston tells us more.
It is recommended that pets only be given as gifts if it’s to yourself. During the winter time there are many common things that can be harmful to pets, and Wilson shares some pet safety reminders that all pet owners should consider this time of year.
