Ask a Chief: Renting Rights, and Immigration Enforcement 

During his appearance on the KRJB Kaleidoscope Program Ada Police Chief Steve Hager did his Ask A Chief Segment, and answered some questions community members have asked him. The first question Hager answered was centered around renters rights, and how a renter can learn what rights they have to protect themselves. 

There have been past talks in the state of Minnesota becoming a sanctuary state for illegal immigration, especially as President Trump’s administration looks to crack down on it. Hager also answered a question on what this could mean for departments like this, and he addressed a dilemma it might have on him and his officers.
