Bagley to host Section 8A One Act Play Competition

Bagley High School will be hosting the Section 8A One Act Play finals on Saturday, February 3rd. Eight teams will perform and three judges will decide which will play will advance to the State One Act Play Festival on February 8th and 9th. Saturday’s competition will begin at 10:00 am with plays beginning approximately every 45 minutes. Competing teams include (in alphabetical order): Bagley, Crookston, East Grand Forks, Greenbush-Middle River, Red Lake Falls, Tri-County (Karlstad), Warroad and Win-E-Mac. The Section 8A event is open to the public and there is no charge for admission. However, once a play has begun, late arrivals are not permitted entry as per MSHSL rules. Bagley finished first in their Sub-Section competition this past Friday with their performance of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by William Shakespeare. Win-E-Mac finished second in the sub-section competition with their production of “Bus Stop”.
