Barnesville City Council Meets

BARNESVILLE, MN—

Like all Minnesota city councils, Barnesville has had to set a preliminary tax levy for the upcoming fiscal year.  Barnesville City Administrator Jeremy Cossette says Barnesville’s City Council did that at Monday night’s meeting.

In other business Monday, Cossette says the City Council passed a measure that will affect a Barnesville intersection.

Cossette adds the City finally got a plumbing permit approved for work on the Barnesville Events Center, the former American Legion Building. That will allow remodeling to proceed on the Events Center.
