Big year for the Hillsboro Fire Department

There’s a new leader in the Hillsboro Fire Department. At the beginning of the year Jake Rust was elected as the new fire chief of the Hillsboro Fire Department, and he’s looking forward to a big year for the department. Rust tells us more about his background with the fire department and moving into the new position. 

It’s going to be a busy year for the Hillsboro Fire Department, as there’s a lot going on behind the scenes. Rust tells us more about what the department will be busy with throughout the year, and he also highlights some things he’d like to get done as chief. 

Rust says the department is always looking for people to join their ranks, and he encourages anyone interested to reach out.
