Buxton City Council Set to Revamp City Website in 2025
The Buxton City Council met in regular session Wednesday evening.
The City is set to revamp its website in the coming year. Out of three bids, the council chose Texas-based, Municipal Impact, to update the website. The web address will remain unchanged.
In other discussion items, Council Member Holly Aamold brought up concerns from residents about a lack of storage space in city limits. Mayor, Travis Soderberg, mentioned that there may be at least one private entity interested in creating storage spaces in city limits. No formal action was taken on the discussion.
Soderberg also mentioned that there have been no new reports of stray dogs in the community. In other items, the council approved the purchase of four new flags. They also discussed the sale of land that used to be the city’s tree pile. No formal action was taken on the land discussion.
