Charges Dropped In Polk County Stabbing

Charges against a Fargo dentist accused of stabbing a man near Fosston have been dropped.  In February 2023, 51-year-old Daniel Mengedoth was charged with first and second degree assault after allegedly stabbing a 35-year-old Iowa man in the face and hands at a cabin near Fosston.  Both charges against Mengedoth were dropped this week at the request of the victim’s family.
