(Itasca State Park) — Visitors to Itasca State Park and the Twinkly Light Trail will be able to enjoy a three-quarter mile loop trail with lights that will mirror the starry night sky.

Located in the Bear Paw Campground, the trail will shine brightly now through the end of the snow season from dusk to 10pm every night. Visitors can hike or snowshoe the packed-snow trail, skiers are also welcome but no track will be set. Pets are also welcome if they are on a 6-foot-or-shorter leash.

The DNR recommends a headlamp or flashlight, bottled water and boot cleats, while also dressing in layers for hte weather and carrying a cellphone in the event of an emergency.
