City Leadership lobbies for Mahnomen Hospital Funding Bill 

Mahnomen City Administrator Taylor Guenther was in St Paul last week to lobby for a bill to fund a construction project for the Mahnomen Hospital, after it was excluded from the Governor’s Bonding Bill last year. Guenther gives a recap of her visit, and tells us more about what the hospital is seeking. 

Guenther also spoke more about the importance of this bill for the City of  Mahnomen, and the surrounding communities. 

Guenther says the coalition will also be lobbying against a housing bill that deals with zoning, that if passed could have major consequences on cities in rural Minnesota.
