Dan Gazelka on Sex Trafficking in Minnesota: “It’s horrifying when you look behind the curtain”

Former law enforcement officer Dan Gazelka joined Tom Lano on KKCQ’s Food for Thought program to talk about the very real issue of sex trafficking in Minnesota. Gazelka, who spent many years in northwestern Minnesota as a police officer, spoke on how rampant it is in the state and what it might look like.

Gazelka went on to discuss what sex trafficking transpires in today’s social media age.

Gazelka expanded on the sentencing guidelines for sex trafficking, as well as legislation that he has tried to push for in the past.

The former law enforcement officer expanded on how parents can help and shared some of the details of a bill for stricter penalties for child pornography.
