Demo of Buxton’s Former Hardware Store on Schedule for September

The Buxton City Council met in regular session Wednesday.

The council reviewed the scheduled demolition of the property at 307 Broadway. The former hardware store, currently owned by Dennis Riedhammer of Riedhammer Masonry, LLC, is set to be demolished on September 16th. Riedhammer, who made no formal appeal prior to the demolition being scheduled, has until September 10th to remove any items from the property.

Mayor, Travis Soderberg, also gave updates on several small projects. No formal action was taken on those updates.

The Buxton City Council’s next meeting is scheduled for September 11th at 7pm at the Buxton Fire Hall.
