Department of Veterans Affairs launches VSAFE to protect veterans from scams
Financial scams have been a growing problem in the United States, and scams targeting veterans have been becoming more common. To combat this growing issue the United States Department of Veterans Affairs have launched a new resource called VSAFE. Norman County Veterans Service Officer John Rosenberger tells us more.
Rosenberger says this resource is becoming more important as the US Government continues to expand VA Benefits, and he explains some of the resources that are now available through VSAFE.
Finally Rosenberger also reminds veterans that your local Veterans Service Officer can help you enroll in VA benefits, and that it’s completely free, and should never cost money.
For more information regarding VA health benefits, and VSAFE contact your County’s Veteran Service Officer.
