DNR Fisheries Supervisor talks 2024/2025 Ice Fishing Season Ice Fishing 

Now that Christmas is over, lakes across Minnesota are expected to get more busy over the next couple weeks. While many know where they will be fishing this year, there’s many who have yet to make a decision. MN DNR Fisheries Supervisor Nathan Olson highlights some of the best lakes across the NW Minnesota region for Ice Fishing this winter. 

While the ice is starting to get pretty thick, Olson reminds people that it’s still important to consistently be checking the ice.
