DNR Summer Internships now open to apply

(Minnesota) — The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources are looking for passionate and dedicated students interested in learning more about possible careers through paid summer internship opportunities.

Summer interns will gain valuable experience and training and help the DNR create a healthy, sustainable, and livable Minnesota for future generations. Agency operations that offer internships include fisheries, forestry, park operations, invasive species, watercraft inspection, communications, and more. 

Interns work 20-40 hours per week and receive a competitive wage of $15/hour. Fulfilling an academic requirement or receiving academic credit is a requirement to be considered for a DNR internship. 

To apply, visit the State of Minnesota careers website as applications are being accepted through February 7th with positions starting in May and June, lasting until August or September.
