Essentia Health in Ada Hosting Virtual Health Fair
Ada, MN — Essentia Health in Ada won’t be hosting their annual health fair again this fall, however they are providing an opportunity for community members to get the usual health fair lab work and screenings that they normally would get at the event. Angie Skyberg with Essentia Health in Ada says this week, September 12th through the 16th, as well as a week on October, patients can set up a time to come in to test for various health conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes and even get your flu shot if you would like too.
Skyberg says its important to get these annual screenings and blood tests because it can help prevent more serious medical complications or issues down the road if you can detect them early.
Essentia Health recommends fasting the night before your appointment and only drinking plain water or coffee for the best lab results. The cost for the lab work is $25, which goes to support the Benedictine Foundation. Call 218-784-2727 to book your appointment.
