Essentia Health to host a stroke and trauma awareness community event in Fosston

The Essentia Health-Fosston Clinic is hosting a community stroke and trauma awareness grill out event in recognition of National Stroke Awareness Month. The event will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 20th on the sidewalk outside of Nord’s Pharmacy & Gifts at 115 Johnson Avenue North in downtown Fosston. Attendees will be able to enjoy free burgers, brats, chips and water. Giveaways will include a drawing for two bikes with helmets. Educational materials will be available on the risk factors for stroke, smoking cessation and bike safety. The event will be free and open to the public.
