Ada-Borup-West at Mahnomen/Waubun

THe Ada-Borup-West Cougars hit some big shots and made key free throws to hang on for a win over Mahnomen Waubun 70-67.  After a halftime tie at 36 Mahnomen Waubun opened up a 9 point lead only to see the Cougars make some threes, and got to the basket for some easy shots to take the lead and build a 8 point lead of their own.  Mahnomen Waubun would come back with time winding down to cut the lead to just 1 point, but with a missed free throw, the Cougars were able to hang on to the ball and secure the win.  The game had 21 lead changes and 10 ties.  Mahnomen Waubun falls to 4-7 while Ada-Borup-West is now 11-5.
