The Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds controlled the glass, and forced Clearbrook Gonvick into several turnovers to pull away early and pick up their first win of the year 75-41.  Mahnomen Waubun outrebounded the Bears 55-31 for the game, and they were able to speed up the game which caused Clearbrook Gonvick to turn the ball over ending with 38 turnovers for the night.  The Thunderbirds were aggressive to the basket scoring on layups and 2nd chance opportunities pulling away early and cruising to the win.
