Climax-Fisher at Mahnomen-Waubun

In a up and down night of shooting for both teams, the Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds were able to use some runs throughout the night to get the win over Climax Fisher 70-57.  After a quick start by the Knights, the Thunderbirds would go on a 14-0 run to build a doubble digit lead early in the game and hold that until halftime.  The 2nd half would start with Mahnomen Waubun hitting their first few shots, but then would struggle with turnovers, while CLimax Fisher would go on a run to cut the lead to 5 with 10:49 to play, but that was as close as they would get as the turnover bug would hit them as well.  Both teams struggled thoughout the night with missed shots and turnovers but Mahnomen Waubun would hit enough to come away with the win.  Mahnomen Waubun is now 6-9 while CLimax Fisher is now 3-13.
