The Hawley Nuggets avenged a regular season loss to the DGF Rebels with a Section Championship victory over the Rebels on Saturday night.  DGF won the first set 25-22, then saw Hawley win set two 25-20, then Hawley ran away with set three 25-16, then in extra points, Hawley would take set four 27-25 and win the Section 8AA Championship for the first time since 2021.

Hawley is now 26-5 and have won 13 consecutive matches, and await their tournament seeding on Sunday.

DGF ends their season 23-9.
