The Menahga Braves overcame a 4 point halftime deficit to defeat the Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds in girls basketball 75-52.  The Thunderbirds would lead by 8 in the first half on 2 occasions only to see the Braves makes some shots to keep with in striking distance with the halftime score being 38-34 Thunderbirds.  In the 2nd half Menahga would dominate the glass, which would lead to easy buckets, and they would hit some big 3s to pull away for the win.
