Fertile-Beltrami School Update

People around the Fertile-Beltrami community are excited about their school’s football team playing for the Minnesota State 9-man championship this weekend.  But there’s another statistic about the Falcons football team that’s worthy of recognition: its grade point average.  The Fertile-Beltrami football team has a 3.50 grade point average on a 4.0 scale—the best of any Minnesota high school football team.  Fertile-Beltrami Superintendent Brian Clarke is proud of the Falcons success on the football field and in the classroom.

Also, the Falcons’ Jonah Harstad received an individual All-State Academic honor.

Also last week, the Fertile-Beltrami School Board canvassed the results of the November 5 school board election.  Clarke has the results.

The new Fertile-Beltrami School board members will take office in January.

Clarke also tells R&J News the school district’s education foundation has been generous in awarding grants.
