Fertile City Council News & Notes from January 10th Meeting
Fertile, MN — The Fertile City Council held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, January 10th where they held their reorganization, discussed a new pickup truck, and got news about future projects. After some deliberation, the council approved the purchase of new truck for the Public Works department. However, Fertile City Administrator Lisa Liden says that deal was apparently too good to be true and it fell though.
Also at the meeting, the Fertile City Council accepted the resignation of councilmember Stanton Wang.
And the council received an update on the runway expansion at the Fertile Airport. Liden says they were hoping to do it this year, but it will apparently have to wait a little longer.
The Fertile City Council meets on the 2nd Monday of each month.
