Fisher Referendum Reaction
FISHER, MN—This past Tuesday, voters in Fisher voted down a referendum that would have raised an additional $300,000 for each of the next ten years to go toward salaries for staff and student programs. Fisher Superintendent Evan Hanson tells R&J News Tuesday’s defeat wasn’t unusual–that two-thirds of referendums in Minnesota on Tuesday failed to pass.
Hanson was asked if the Fisher District had a “Plan B.”
Hanson added the Fisher School is a community school and prides itself on being responsive to the people in the district.
