Fosston School Board discusses school safety
The Fosston School Board met in regular session last week. It was the first board meeting since a student at Magelssen Elementary School brought a gun to school, and Superintendent Todd Selk says a majority of the meeting was a report on the incident and a lengthy discussion on school safety.
Another item on the meeting agenda was the adoption of a spending budget, and Selk says the board adopted a deficient spending budget.
Lastly Selk gave an update on enrollment, and how recent trends have affected their funding.
Other agenda items included an update on the seniority list, and administrative updates.
