Fosston Tri-Coop Elects Directors at Annual Meeting

The Fosston Tri-Coop held its annual meeting on March 31st with over 65 people attending. Three directors were elected with Mike Breckel, Jim Steinmetz and Curtis Bartz each elected to a three year term. Highlights from the meeting include the review of the audit which stated a profit for the year of $1, 200,444.19 and distribution of dividends back to patrons of $1 million dollars. The Fosston Tri-Coop handled over 2.9 million bushels of grain, 193,000 bushels of seed and 12,000 tons of fertilizer and reports a working capital of over $2.9 million. The Tri-Coop Board includes Mike Breckel, Jim Steinmetz, Mike Affeldt, Alroy Lewis, Jeff Broadwell, Curtis Bartz and Nathan Sweep. The annual meeting was held at Ventures Bar & Grill in Fosston.
